A Message from Our President – Sarah Hintz

Hello all!

I hope you are all having a good February so far.  Mine has been fairly busy with business tax returns and trying to balance everything else that I normally do as well.  My stack of individuals is also starting to accumulate.   Another thing I was not prepared for was all of this snow.  In my 10 plus years in Flagstaff I have never seen this much snow.  I hope you all are taking some time out of your busy schedules to get out and enjoy the snow and the nice warm weather we have had over the last few weeks.  I had the opportunity to go cross country skiing during the last full moon which was pretty amazing.  As I mentioned last month, it is important that we take time for ourselves even though we may be busy at work.

 Our speaker this month is Chip Lambert of Network2 Networth who will be presenting “Social Media for Accounting Professionals.”  He we be speaking to us about the importance of social media in today’s business environment.  Chip spoke to the Flagstaff Chapter of CPA’s last year and also spoke at ASWA’s regional conference this year.  He is a very engaging speaker and will definitely make you think about how you currently promote your business and the way the world is changing in this arena.
