A Message from Our President – Wendy Swartz

I really don’t like to start each month’s letter with “wow, I can’t believe it’s already _______!” but somehow it is always my first thought when it is time to write the President’s Letter. As cliché as it sounds, time does go fast. So here we are about to celebrate another new year’s arrival. At the Flagstaff ASWA chapter, we have our traditions at this time of the year too. We gather to spend time together socially. We have lunch and a small ($10 or less, please) gift exchange.So, about this gift exchange… For those of you who are new to our tradition, I am sure you are going to have some fun. We have a white elephant gift exchange where you can choose a wrapped present or steal a gift from someone else. It’s always fun and gets a lot of laughs.This year’s lunch will be at Taverna at 11:30 on Tuesday, December 20. Please come and enjoy our annual tradition because the next time you look around, it may just be April already!
