The American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) represents professional women in accounting and finance and provides them an opportunity for networking and continuing education with peers at the local, regional and national levels. Members of The American Society of Women Accountants and their companies benefit from practical resources and benefit programs that strengthen their professional growth. ASWA members tap into an extensive knowledge base of accounting and finance professionals with technical expertise to provide solutions for the most complex issues. Our members communicate both virtually and in-person through online discussion forums, national and regional conferences and chapter meetings.
PHOTOS: One of the many great reasons to join our local ASWA Chapter is that we get together throughout the year to do various activities outside of the accounting world. Every December we celebrate the Christmas holiday by having a social lunch and gift exhange. Every August we take a summer break for some extracurricular activities at our annual Bowling Social. And who says fieldtrips are just for kids? Last April we a group of us took a trip to our National Weather Service Forecast Station in Bellemont Arizona, where we got to step out of our “accounting shoes” and learn all about how our weather works and how they forecast what’s to come. So enjoy the various photos below of our ASWA members having fun!
